Who are the mysterious voices behind the microphone? Get to know us a bit more

Alyssa was born and raised in Vancouver. From a young age, she’s always helped out in the kitchen and loved food. Her other passions include dance, which she’s been doing since 2013, musical theatre and photography. Her favourite cuisine’s are American, Italian and French pastries and her favourite local restaurants are Tractor, Romer’s and Small Victory. Her favourite chains are Starbucks and Chipotle

Kyla was born in Paris and moved to Vancouver at the age of 4. In her free time she likes being with her friends and family. She loves going out to eat, her favourite place to eat is five guys, and any other fast food you can think of. She really enjoys French because it’s her native language, and so to her its very easy.

Jayna was born in Calgary and later moved to Vancouver at the age of two. She has always loved cooking as her mom is a chef. At age 13 she won Chopped Canada Junior and has loved creating food to this day. Her multicultural background has influenced her views on food; Chinese, Irish, French, Scottish to name a few. Her favourite restaurants are Meet on Main, Brix + Mortar, Chau’s, The Naam and Minami.

Ella was born and raised in Vancouver. Her main hobby is helping her dad around the kitchen. Aside from her cooking and baking obsession, Ella has been a competitive gymnast for 11 years, and a competitive hip hop dancer for 9 years and counting. She has competed both nationally and internationally, as a result of intensive training, ranging from 30-40 hours per week in these sports. When she’s not training she enjoys spending time with friends and trying new adventurous foods, which is why she is very excited to learn more about different food cultures.
